Is there any way to post pics to threads without using that Tapatalk app ? That thing is the most clunky hard to use picture posting process I've used anywhere,I was gonna share the 1958 Harley Panhead I purchased and the new McIntosh gear I've acquired or pulled out of storage but can't get that damn app to accept my pics ,I remember it taking me about 2 hours to post pics of my Emotiva/McIntosh system on my original profile and am hoping somebody can offer a work around to Tapatalk ,it really is a horrible app for pics .

Sure.. use the "attach" button. I think pics are limited to 3megs. Looks likena paper clip. I usually have to swithc to desktop mode on my phone to do it.
PC is easier.

And building on dsonyay's post...in addition to being in desktop mode, you have to "Reply" and not "Post Quick Reply" to see the "Attach" button.

You can have more control over how photos display by using a tiny bit of HTML...
and there are LOTS of online tutorials showing how to easily do just that.

If you want more control/want the images to appear inline vs attachments that open a new window, here is one method: 1. Create an Imgur account (www.imgur.com). 2. Upload images you want to post inline in a Lounge post (there are size and resolution limitations) - drag and drop image into Imgur interface if using modern browser or click "Add Images" 3. Once the image(s) are uploaded, click on the photo in Imgur and to the right will be a set of ways to use the image. 4. Copy the "Direct Link" version 5. In a Lounge post, click the "Insert Image" button on the post toolbar. 6. Paste the Imgur URL you grabbed. 7. Click "Insert Image" 8. View the image inline in your post.
