I've recently purchased an XMC-1 (Received the unit Dec-23-2018). The front panel display now has one vertical row of pixels permanently illuminated beyond maximum brightness. Turning the display off does not turn off the pixels in question, Turning the unit off does not help either in fact, if or when they do go away, a cold boot is a sure way to bring them back. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like a trip back to TN is in store for the XMC-1.

No, no side to side scrolling. It wont even respond to me when I talk to it. How rude! 8}

Looks like the board for the front end is cooked? Bill
