RMC-1 - Trigger Speaker Groups and Network Control

I'm looking likely to purchase an XMC-2 or RMC-2 later this year but have a couple of integration questions:
1) What are the speaker groups which can be assigned to triggers? (Is it just stereo and surround or more granular than that?)
2) Is the RMC-1 network control similar to the XMC-1? Is there an update to the control protocol document issued for the XMC-1?

2) It is supposed to be the same. You will have to contact Emotiva directly. Last time I asked, they did not want the spec posted here.

I was wondering about the iOS app that is supposed to be available. Currently I can only find an Emotiva one named XMC which either needs to be re-named, or they need a new one called RMC.

Or is there already an RMC app that is for some reason not available in the UK AppStore?

With the protocol being the same, it should work. The RMC1 sounds pretty broken so I’m sure branding of the app is very low on the priority list...
