I watched this YouTube video and found it pretty interesting: youtu.be/8eEpyxoNkwkSo, I looked up the album on Tidal.. and it's actually there. In some ways I really liked it. I don't know why... Maybe because it's so bad, it's good? Or maybe it because Frank Zappa said it's one his top 3 albums? Or a very funny comment to the video is that it's "accidentally avant garde". LoL Anyway, I thought you guys may enjoy this. The album is likely on Spotify, iTunes, and Google Play as well. Interested in someone's thoughts after listening to the whole album.

Jeeeeezzzz
The problem with YouTube is you don’t REALLY know what kind of a video you’re stuck with until you start the thing up. That being said, when you have a 50 year knowledge base for music tucked inside your head, you can ALSO find gold there.....(at times)

Not sure about worst MUSIC ever committed to Vinyl - but this topic could easily be broken into (4) or more sub-categories:
-MOST ANNOYING ARTIST - VOCAL (I'll nominate Tiny Tim - I'd rather eat broken glass than listen to him "sing") Other notables - in most cases, I LOVE their songwriting, just don't MAKE me listen to THEM singing... >Neil Young >Bob Dylan >"The Boss" (but LOVE the band and most of their tunes)
-MOST ANNOYING ARTIST - INSTRUMENTAL (Some really abstract stuff by Ornette Coleman - some of it sounds like a kid blowing the reed and squeezing random keys with NO thought...)
-MOST ANNOYING SINGLE SONG / TUNE: ("Come on Eilene" - Dexy's Midnight Runners. NEVER understood how that thing got SO MUCH airplay and probably made Million$...)
-BEST ALBUM RUINED BY CRAPTACULAR RECORDING / ENGINEERING (nothing immediately comes to mind, but I'm sure there are some glowing examples out there...)
-NEW ALBUMS (OR CD / FILE) OF CRAP QUALITY THAT WERE DIFFICULT TO PLAY (I have a Vinyl [forget which one] of The Scorpions, recorded on Mercury - the grooves are more like a shallow scratch, the hole is off-center, and it is warped. I keep it as a "Turntable Torture Test" album, in case I ever need one.)

Don't go pickin' on Spike Jones His stuff has its time and place, and it's actually pretty darned GOOD for its intended purpose I was educated in "fun / humorous" music when I was in college and a roommate turned me onto "The Doctor Demento Show" (he was a huge Weird Al fan - some of WA's stuff is flippin' hilarious / creative)

I didn't say I didn't enjoy Spike Jones; he was entertaining, but the emphasis was not on the music.

Neil Young on the other hand I could listen to all day long!!

We used to have a "Bob Dylan Sings..." game in college. It involved other forms of...uh, mental stimulation...
But, the game was, we'd sit around and one person would say "Bob Dylan sings (insert a band/artist name here)" and point at someone. The person being pointed at had to think of a song by that band/artist and sing it as Bob Dylan.
The popular favorites were "Bob Dylan sings...Pink Floyd" (Imagine Bob droning "ticking away the moments that make up a dull day..." with all sorts of off harmony groans and sqawks and high and low volume and drawn out words with lots of inflections that don't really fit). Or, "Bob Dylan sings Steely Dan" (Aja...when all...my di-aaa--mmm dancin' is THROUGH-OOO-OOO-ooo-uhhhh...I RUN tooooo youuuuuu")
Lots of laughs, for sure.

If you're a Dr Demento fan, then you should remember one of his favorite songs, or at least one he played an awful lot (and one of the worst songs ever made): Fish Heads by Barnes and Barnes. (The first verse goes "Fish heads; Fish heads; floating in the soup".)
I actually saw that performed when I lived in California...
Performed live, by Barnes and Barnes, at the Starlight Amphitheater, and hosted by none other than Dr Demento...
The Dr Demento show ran for several years in California when I lived there. Ahhhh... the good old days.
Spike Jones was really funny... and even witty... (I'm thinking "Cocktails For Two".)

One day I made a delivery to Barry Hansen, which if I recall after all these years, was in Highland Park. When the guy opened the door first thing I saw was a roomful of records stacked floor to ceiling and records scattered all over the place. Later I found out he was the famous Dr. Demento. That sure explained all the records!

Thank you for bringing up Dr. Demento. He introduced me to Wild Man Fischer whom I can nominate for a worst album ever award.

- "99 Dead Baboons" (spoof of song by Nena) by Tim Cavanagh
- The "Ssshhh....aving Cream" song that keeps sounding like it's going to have a naughty SH word in it
- "Amish Paradise" by Weird Al

Now that's a song I could have gone a couple of eternities without being reminded of.
