So I have been thinking of selling my 6s and Sanus stands(most likely local) and grabbing the T1, what I have been doing is taking my screen off and setting up the stands and 6s speakers in my room for a little 2ch setup, not that my main system is bad but my chanes being behind my screen in an un-optimal placement don't sound as good as even my 6s out in the room.
Recently I purchased the U-Turn TT and an A-100 amp and have on the way a Schiit Modi 2 USB, so my plans would be sell the 6s speakers and pick up some T1 towers as the clearout price is cheaper than anything else I could get at that price/performance ratio and also grab a Schiit SYS so I could run my laptop and Modi for Tidal and TT to the SYS and to the A-100 and T1's
I guess overall what I'm thinking is if I go this route I have more extension into the lower frequencies with the T1's over the 6s as I don't run any subs in that setup, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this, I would love to try some Tekton speakers but being in Canada the price and shipping do not make it affordable especially given the dollar for us up north, the T1's would cost me about $720 to my door.

The Tekton Pendragons are epic in its large sound and powerful nature. There's no doubt that these are impressive speakers.
However, I found myself preferring the Emotiva T2. Though it didn't quite have the same grand "size" in soundstage, the t2 came with plenty of bass extension and power but coupled to a very even and coherent sound image from top to bottom, something that I felt the Pendragons lagged a little compared to the T2.

Seems them 6s would be an easy sell....peeps be wanting them, hell I want some....but shipping would be a killer.

Pendragons are too large and too expensive for me and for my room and the T2 not being on clearout price are too expensive as well, I have considered selling my entire system and doing a 2ch setup with some Tekton Electron speakers but I would miss the 100È screen and movies, especially my kids lol. I'm also surprised you find the ow end lacking on the Pendragons, every review I have read of the Tekton speakers in the "Fullrange" category have favorable reviews in the bass department, sometimes even too much but it all depends on the room of course. I don't believe Gar is saying the Tektons were less in bass than the T2's but in "coherent sound image" for the full frequency range - whatever that is. Having said that, few people not named Gar, would trade in Pendragons for T2's. But to each their own.

Chad I would never call the low-end of the tektons lacking. It was huge and powerful and went low. But I preferred the base of the t-2 mainly because I felt it coupled to the room better locking in a stunning soundstage. Having said that, there is no doubt that The Pendragon’s were loafing at any volume that we threw at it. The difference is not so much the base but the sound quality. Both speakers had good detail. The T2 had a bit more.

Man I’d buy some Tektons and be done with it. Maybe some Lore reference, or Enzo compact? Stealth 6 and pendragon have been my favorite speakers out of anything I’ve ever heard. Both have different reasons for why I like them. But if I had the room or the ability to make it happen I’d have tektons for sure

There is also a huge Canadian market for the speakers, so if you had to sell them wouldn’t be that bad

I think the T1 is an excellent option. The Air Motion tweeter alone is the winner. The rest of it is icing on the cake. I think though, and you need to experiment with placement and so on, you might want a Subwoofer to help get that last bit of bottom. You might not. The T2 stands alone no problem, but budget is the factor here. Got it! So yeah, the T1 will give you allot for an exceptionally value price. Take your time on your setup and I think the T1 will please no end. The T series are the best towers Emotiva has done yet that are really good. And at the price, tough to say no.

Well my wife has them in her office and won't let me have them. I've got the Mini Lore's in my office and Enzo's in the bedroom so I can tell you without a doubt Tekton makes a great sounding speaker!
