This is admittedly a dumb question, but this is the place for it.
If you are not bi-wiring, is one set of connectors preferred over another?
My only good speakers so far only have one set of connectors, so hooking them up was easy. I’m looking to get the C2 soon and I don’t think my receiver allows bi-wiring, so I wondered which set to use, or doesn’t it matter?

Wrong show! LOL Seriously, the answer to your question is, it doesn’t matter. I prefer to connect my speaker cables to the bottom jacks. There should be a strap connecting the two sets of connectors. This is called a jumper so it’ll supply all the drivers with a signal.

I’m new to this, so plenty of dumb questions ahead.

Ask away, there’s plenty of good folks with a wealth of knowledge.

Bi wiring is not to be confused with bi amping. One is profound, the other not so much. Your ears will tell you.

As others have already mentioned, if you are not bi-wiring (or bi-amping) the C2, it does not matter whether you use the upper or lower pair of input terminals. However, it is important that you do not remove the factory installed jumper bar between the two pairs. The jumpers are only to be removed if bi-wiring or bi-amping is preferred.

Good to know. I probably wouldn’t have, but it’s presence might have made me wonder what to do with it.
