I still have my shure V15 type (whatever the last type was before they dropped the cartridge) on my VPI table. and yes it tracks extremely well. I still have that same album. I even remember our high school choir recording with Telarc, before it was called Telarc and was still making local high school and college records as its main business. the introduction to digital tape recording changed all that and put that company on the map. I believe their first digital album was fredrick fennel doing band music with the brass, wind and percussion players from the Cleveland orchestra. I love these walks down memory lane. tchaik............... The V15 I currently have in my Oracle was the final release of their V15 series from Shure. It's the "V15 type V mr". Scott

VPI Scout with Sumiko Blue Point and Thorens TD 160 with Audioquest PT-6 tonearm and Denon DL 103 cart. Both very nice sounding tables that have different sound profiles but when I want to hear a reference recording neither of them can beat the ERC-3.

Good pics! What cartridge is the closeup of? That is a Hana EL, which is, for the money, an absolute bargain.

They work good for the price. And I would not spend thousand on a TT that I play 1970's and 1980's popping vinyl on it.

I can’t get my pics to upload here but running Acoustic Signature WOW XXL table, TA-1000 tonearm, Ortofon Cadenza Black cartridge into Lehmann Audio Decade through Nordost Frey tonearm cable.
I’m finally satisfied with my vinyl playback system

PTP-2 with Lenco 75 and a 25kg slate waterjet cut plinth. Transfi terminator pro 3 air bearing linear tracking arm, now running a clear audio platter and bearing as the old Lenco had a bit of a wobble a picture paints a 1000 words Built the base and fitted everything myself. Built 2 bases with Lenco platters originally, and the owner of all the Lenco parts and slate said I could keep one set...my build continued, with the airbearing arm and then the change of platter and led lighting.

It’s a tough one to get setup and the aquarium pump that floats the inverted V along the airbearing needs to be located in another area outside my window...plus the leveling of the arm can be challenging...but it does play nice on a good day. Need to get a stable rack for it as it’s on something less than ideal now so not running it.
Have a technics SL1100 and an SL7 in running order too for day to day spins. And. VPI 16.5 RCM too that I really need to use on my older vinyl.

Here's a picture of a TT that belongs to a friend from The Classic Speaker Pages. It's an Thorens TD-125 MKII base with a fancy tone arm; one of several he has. The tone arm is an S.M.E.3009 with an “Orsonic” headshell w/ Ortofon Cadenza Blue MC cartridge,
