Today I heard a pair of Klipsch RP600 bookshelves.. wow.. those are some really nice speakers. Hard to believe how big they sound. Anyone own a set? What type music do you play and what are your impressions after having them a while.

I have a pair of RB-61ii, RP-150 and RP-160M. The 150s are side surrounds so I can't say much about them. The 61s are rear surrounds and are fantastic. The 160s are in our game room and I am amazed over and over again at the sound they produce, especially the bass. It could be the room, etc. but the bass from these seems to be better at times than what I get from the Forte 1s. Go figure!!

I do have the RB-61 II's, used as desktop speakers. Dac NAD 658, and a Dennis Had Fire Bottle SET amplifier using EL-6L6GC T/S new Production tubes. Amazing sound, Warm, sweet, detailed and never "ear fatiguing". I believe Boomzilla has reviewed the RP 600m and had very positive things to say about those speakers.

I prefer my RB-5's to the RP-160M or the RP-600M. If you really want to be wow'd by a Klipsch bookshelf, find yourself a pair of RB-75's to listen to. But I digress. The 160 and 600 are both very capable speakers that perform well above their footprint and pricepoint. Hands down.

I saw that one.. as well as a few others. Everyone is blown away by this speaker pair. So when I was at my friend's store, he demo'd them for me. He didn't have lossless sources, but played some itunes stuff from his phone. I told him I'd love to bring in a CD player to play a few CDs I like.. he was all for that. But from what I heard, I was impressed.
