Short story long, I really want to pick some of these up, but due to financial plans, I’m putting away around $200 a month for hobbies/ unimportant (wife’s opinion) expenses.
So it’s going to be around four months before I can buy them. But I do get bonuses, so hopefully sooner. Anyway, given the timeframe, am I likely out of luck? What about the new T2+, any idea when they will be out? Price?
While I’m at it, are the C2s going away? In a few weeks I’m planning on getting the C2, then start saving for the T2s. But I’m wondering if a new center is coming out? Price on that?
To sum it up, my plan was to get the C2 soon, deal with a mismatched LCR for a few months, then get the T2s. But my fear is I’m going to get the C2 and then have my plan go to heck with the T2s disappearing and the new towers being out of my price range.
Hope that all made sense.

Emotiva has that payment plan option which will more than for your budget. Affirm? I think

All speculation. I think the new towers will be higher than the price range of the sale of the T2 speakers. Also I think it’s going to be a while before we get the new towers in stock. I also think the current speakers are going to sell out pretty soon. I think your best bet would be to buy on credit and then pay it off with your savings. You would probably be out only a little extra money if you do it that way.

If you know anything about Emotiva, I wouldn’t base your purchase on what’s to come. It could be tomorrow or in the year 2030.
Always great resale value on Emotiva products if you decide to upgrade later.

I have debated that, but we are house shopping. I’m reluctant to take out any loans, credit, etc. I’ve been strongly tempted, but I don’t want to risk anything going wrong with our home loan.

You could simply wait then. If they release new speakers you’ll be able to pick up the old series discounted. That’s not a bad game plan. Also, your room may want smaller or larger speakers in your new house? I’d wait given your new home buying

Yep, you gotta do what's important. However, I think you are going to miss out on the T2's. Which isn't necessarily bad imo. The replacements might be pretty darn nice.

I posted this a little while ago... yes they are replacing with the T1z, T2z and C2z. these are updates of the existing speakers with subtle changes to the crossover and some cosmetic changes. visually, the notch in the middle of the speaker is gone. Lonnie and dan told me that the cosmetic changes were for better wife appeal and the xover changes were for a smoother high end. they had a glossy brochure at the axpona conference with pics and specs of the new speakers. tchaik.......

We've already dropped the price on the remaining stock of the T2's... and I suspect they'll sell out at that price before the new ones come along... (So, if you like the way the current ones look, it might be a good idea to get while the gettin's good...) I have debated that, but we are house shopping. Hey if you are reading this, the T2s are gone! Means, A.) You waited too long, or B.) You waited too long. Closeout does not show these anymore! You still can get the C2. Talk about a killer center. Hmm, if you got two these and a subwoofer and..... It's what I was trying to say, if he waits, he's not going to be getting the closeout T2s so he may have to wait. Not that he'll lose out either way with whatever he ends up with. Great speakers!

The T2 will be a tough act to follow!

Not too tough of an act to follow if they're just tweaking it to come out with the less-ugly model. It'll be a tough wait in Emo-time, though.
I wouldn't worry - they show up for sale used fairly frequently at good prices.

Now that is a neat trick. I didn't see them on the Closeout page. Where are they hiding them. If true. If you are on the fence on the T2s, time is running out. They are available on the regular T2 site, not the closeout page. On the main speakers page, they are labeled a closeout, but I never saw the T2's on the actual closeout page. emotiva.com/collections/loudspeakers

I wonder if this whole tariff situation between the US and China will effect pricing on the new speakers.
