Would a pair of C2 speakers make good height speakers? They're a very nice sounding full range speaker, but they weigh over 36 pounds, and are physically large. If you have the space and a way to mount something that large and heavy as height speakers, sure they'd work. I'm thinking there would be speakers more suitable to height speaker use though, size-wise.

I'm suspecting that after the strongly positive press on the original T series of speakers, that Emotiva won't change their voicing significantly. The money that previously went into the "notch" may now be spent on a nicer vinyl finish? This would improve WAF, reduce production costs, and probably not affect the sound in any significant way. I'm also expecting that the acoustic differences between the "new" and "old" T-series speakers will be so small that you'll be able to "mix-and-match" between the center and satellites without noticing any differences. So in this case, I expect Emotiva's plan to be "don't mess with success." But my speculations and a buck'll buy you a cup of McCoffee...
The other comment I'd make is that as soon as the "new" T2 speakers become available, there will be a larger-than-average number of "original" T2 speakers on the used market so that fans can upgrade. I don't plan to sell mine, but if the new ones are such stunners...

I am kicking around changing my system in the living room from the Mirage Nano Sats to the T2/C2/E2 setup. The only down side is that since they are 4 Ohm speakers I will likely need to push them with an external amp.

What are you pushing you T2's with?... At this second, I'm running a review power amp - the Audio Research VT80SE tube amp, but normally, I go with my Emotiva PA-1 amplifiers that I consider world-class.

I wish I knew the answer to this, I’m going to take the chance that either I’ll get a best guess or a company answer.
I’m buying one of the the following next week, T1 or C2. Of the following, which has the lowest supplies left? I really want the T2, but in realistic terms, I think I’m getting the T1 or C2 next week, then praying I can get the other in a few weeks.
Secondary question, if you had to get one thing (t1 or C2) which would you get? Just in case I miss out on one of the choices. Then I’ll play the waiting game for the new product line or find used.

I need to check if my AVR has pre-outs in my living room. If it does I’ll have to decide on 5 PA-1s or just a simple 5 channel amp (A-500 maybe). If I need a new AVR for pre-outs this starts to get pretty expensive pretty quickly.

If I need a new AVR for pre-outs this starts to get pretty expensive pretty quickly. So no pre-outs on my fairly inexpensive Denon AVR in the living room. So to get the T2's I would need to replace the AVR with one that has pre-outs (or get a new processor), and still buy a 5 channel amp. Depending on cost on the processor I am looking at $2500ish, and although I'm sure they would be better than my current setup I just can't see spending that money on a system that at most produces background music.
