Can EMO get a fix into FW 1.6 to allow owners a choice btwn DD_Surround or DTS_Neural:X when sending PCM (from Oppo203, HDMI) to RMC-1. Right now, only DD_Surround is selected. Thx.

THANK YOU FOR ANSWERS When OPPO203 is in lpcm mode, pcm is sent to RCM-1. DD_Surrond is currently the only upmixer applied to PCM ... this is done automatically by RMC-1 (?). I would like to use the DTS_Neural:X upmixer instead of DD_Surround ... can't figure how to do this.

I believe this is the wrong thread to report a bug with LPCM and Dts Neural X.

The RMC-1 13.5.10 channel Atmos/DTS:X Pro processor. watched the whole thing. upshot.... he loves the sound quality, best sound he has ever heard in his setup, doesn't consider it really buggy in its current iteration, and can put up with slower than Marantz/Denon response time in setup for the superior sound quality. he gave a really strong endorsement for the processor. tchaik............

Yeah that sums it up but I’m curious where he got the native 13.1.10 support specs. He didn’t seem to mention it except in the title unless I missed it.

Just bought my fourth (and final) Axiom 1500 8chl amp. Black Friday specials. 625 Watts into 4ohms, continuous. Need the Speaker Expansion module. KeithL , be nice if SEM were in RMC-1 FW 1.7. Also looking at an 8 chl minidsp (10x10 or 88A) just to get sound dB readouts for widths and middle tops. Want to compare front dB read outs with widths … and compare middle tops with front heights. Waiting for a Black Friday special @ minidsp.com … their tech support did not know if they were going to offer a Black Friday special on their products.

Anyone heard any updates on the expansion modules? I just whipped up some XLR y-adapters for my front and rear side surrounds as well as my subs, as I have a suspicion that we won't see them before summer.

So its been about a 6 month break for me on the lounge and it seems that there is no news about the speaker expansion modules. Does anyone know if these have been scrapped?

So its been about a 6 month break for me on the lounge and it seems that there is no news about the speaker expansion modules. Does anyone know if these have been scrapped? There was a podcast within the last month that said they were working on things, but basically no detail. I believe the message was to not expect anything new for the rest of the year outside of a couple of speakers. There are many people who want channel expansion for various reasons. I'm hoping they are really dug into a 4 channel slot with assignment capabilities. Meaning... We can use them for any speaker we like. For those who want it, also having Dirac Bass Control fully operational would pair well with this. I believe it would drive the sale much better.
