Here's a report of my use of minidsp and BasX A-100 and A-300 amplifiers.
I'm using my minidsp as a crossover and preamp (I don't have a separate preamp).
So I'm controling the master volume with the minidsp.
At low volume the auto-trigger function isn't working. What's more annoying is the fact that the A-100 is going into stanby mode after a couple of minutes at low volume.
A work around would be appreciate. If there's none, would it be ok to use a DAC with a variable output as a preamp? (Minidsp master volume at max, DAC volume control).
Minidsp's DAC is a little bit noisy, amps are quiet. (I have sensitive sepakers).

I rechecked the user's manual and I think I could use a ET-3 trigger box to get my amplifiers to start at the same time, but I'll lose the auto stand-by function.
