Has anyone managed to update their XMC-2 to v1.7 firmware? I've followed the instructions and have put the downloaded file (EmotivaUpdate-1-7-2019_11_13.dat) onto a USB FAT32 formatted flash drive. I have placed the file in the root directory, not inside a folder. I've inserted the drive into the front USB socket. When I go to Setup/Advanced/Firmware Update I just see "No Update File". Do I need to rename the update file to something else? Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Try another USB stick, while I’ve not run into this, some owners have had USB sticks for some reason or another not play nice and just don’t get recognized by the processor.

Tried 3 additional flash drives and eventual;y found one that worked with the XMC-2. Bizarre! :-) I have now updated and going throuh the advised reset procedure before seeing whats improved!

I think Emotiva gave us a usb flash drive but I lost it.
So yes, I thought I was going crazy but after a couple usb sticks I also found one that works.
An online update option would be nice.
