Now trying the switch that came in the Dirac box and so far still no luck. Nope no luck how do I reset the nic? Without knowing for sure, I will need to assume some things. The processor is now connected to the Emotiva supplied switch. The switch is connected to a router. Turn off the processor Main Power Switch on the back panel. Wait 1 minute. Not less. Less is not good. Power up the processor. By the time the status line gets to the M for Emotiva you should start to see the Link Light on the white Emotiva Switch light up which shows the processor has a Link. Let me know how this part goes. Which processor do you have?

No green light on the processor nic. I had it once and then it just vanished. If the EDNIB is connected, disconnect it. Don't connect it until you have an IP address for the processor. Please check your Information tab in the Menu to see what it says about the IP Address which will be listed as "Network" followed by the IP address, for example 192.168.1.199 What is connected to what in your network. Please look at the Dirac Live manual as supplied by Emotiva and tell us which connections you have. You can look at page 9 of the manual linked here >>> cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2572/6926/files/emotiva_dirac_user_v13.pdf?v=1593525404. The manuals can be found on the first page of this thread. No ip address under information network. So boe I disconnected the ednib and am restarting the processor. I will wait for it to establish an ip address

Still no ip address no matter what I do. I appreciate all your help also. I think my nic just won't stay active and this is a real bummer. I may just give up on this thing. Edit finally an ip address bow I plugged the ednib back in. Still no green light on my nic maybe burned out also still Dirac Live not available

DHCP was fixed and is now what I use.
Also, most people think waiting 1 minute with no power is too long. It's not. A couple months ago I tested the NIC problem for almost a week and found that less than 45 seconds is worse than rolling dice. 1 minute has not failed for my XMC-2.

Yes and I have a link light Perfect!!! Now you can connect the EDNIB. After you check Enable is when you do the rest with the computer. Please make sure the computer is on the same segment. If your IP address is something like: 192.168.1.200, then your computer should have the exact same first three sets of numbers: 192.168.1.xxx If your computer is 192.168.0.xxx then it won't work.

Received notice yesterday that my RMC-1 registry information had been forwarded to Dirac. One step closer!

$100.00 for something that's avaialable for free - I'm not that keen it isn't unreasonable tho. A small switch, a pi 4, a couple of cables, an SD card and a case. All you need for this to work is a Pi and the image of the SD card.

Hello People I am new to Emotiva world and to this forum. I would like your help on the Dirac calibration. All configurations are done with XMC-2 and Dirac. I took the Main position and calibrated. At the end it gives me "Low Signal-to-noice level" warning and when I "Dismiss" it does not do any. Does NOT show any lines / graph. I am not able to proceed further. I played with Gain and Master volume.also, I switched off the subwoofer amp(too noisy) but no matter how many settings I changed, it does not give me results.
XMC-2 XPA-11 7.1.4 Dirac 3.x
Thanks for your time.
