Took my thing in to have the experts try to bring out some luster in the poorly maintained paint finish. This young man did an excellent job! The convertible top gets replaced in a couple weeks, you can see a repaired slice in the top in the middle photo.

So nice!!! First thing though, change those tires!!! LOL I dropped off the bike on my way home at our local bike shop for a new set of Dunlops. The guys stayed a bit late to put them on for me. I'd be terrified to attempt any stops on those crusty old bologna skins. Scott mmmmmmmmmm, bologna! (Homer Simpson)

1 new pair of Levi's; 2 pair of cargo shorts; 7 pair of Hanes underwear; 6 pair of Underarmor socks; and a new toilet brush (the house cleaner broke the one in my man cave bathroom). Oh, and one Auntie Ann's garlic pretzel and one Gold Star cheese coney.
So, it's a slow day...nothing really cool, but hey...they are my latest purchases.

Well, I sure as hell hope you didn't spend too much for the LJ (luster job). Maaco has a completely new paint job offer (flat black) for only $299! Piano black, $329. My friend in Eastern Worshington re-painted his VW bus with three cans of Krylon (three different colors) for under $25!

A little bit came off with every car wash. "Baked-On Finish" eh?

Side note; I wish I could gain some muscle mass. Always had a bit bulkier than a runners build. Never wanted to be huge but some mass would've been nice. At this pont in my life, I'm happy I'm only up 1 waist size since high school and stay active, eat right and still have 4 pack abs or so. ha Scott

Thanks to all for the advice on my modem thread question. I desided to replace it with the exact same make and model. Motorola 6580. I'm familiar with it and it should give me a few good years of service. Yep, a cable modem sure isn't sexy but yea just gotta have one!!

I liked it so much that I decided to use the option of running it as a balanced mono phono amp., which meant I had to buy one more. It arrived today, Looking forward to setting them both up tonight! Since I also listen to a lot to digitally stored music, I also have some upgrades for that among other things a new DAC. Will post that later.
