I’m convinced that somehow your brain has this deviant thing in it that likes to torture you from time to time……
I woke up with the “Ode to Billy Joe” Tallahatchee Bridge song going through my head.
Few words can describe how much I hate that song but the thread title is: “what earworm did you wake up to .” So sad for me that was the one!

The young rascals performed at Iona College when I was a young teenager. They used to have outdoor concerts there outside in the center campus. Those guys were not playing Groovin lol I mean it was pedal to the metal jam session incredibly impressive, and Dino Danelli was a master show drummer one of those guys who could throw sticks up in the air catch them in the middle and then just keep going. I always hated guys who could do that! Anyway, a balls to the wall performance I’ll never forget it.

Didn’t know anyone listened to the older Tubes stuff but me! I saw them do that live a couple of times! I’ve always wanted to catch one of their performances, but they tend to stick close to home on the West Coast, in other words no-where close to me. Thus my complete CD catalog of their music will just have to do.
