I definitely need 4k switching, thinking it will be okay due to this quote on the Emotiva site:
"All certified XMC-1s feature our latest 18 GHz, 4k UHD HDMI video switching with support for Dolby Vision, HDR, HDCP 2.2, dual outputs, and supports Dirac Live™."
I have an old Anthem MRX-510 that the L&R amps have died. Was going to use it as a pre/pro until I remembered it does not handle 4K video.

I'm not familiar with the V3 board you mention. I'm guessing it is not on the refurb units? It’s the HDMI 2.0 / 4K board, I upgraded my XMC-1 with it when it first came out. I know some referb units come with it, but not sure they all do, just saying I’d make sure to get it. It’s the same board that’s in current XMC-2, RMC-1/L. Meant to quote you on my previous response. Hopefully the info on the XMC-1 page means that it does have the V3 board installed.

Probably wise to call and ask anyway to confirm. Warm and fuzzy....

All of the Certified Factory Renewed XMC-1 units come with the current "v3" HDMI 2.0b (4k) board.
(If we were to ever sell any older units on clearance without the current board they would be clearly marked.) (As far as I know there are no plans to ever do so.)

It has one 4K input, that's the only thing holding me back, I need three.
