I finally saw Passengers. The most interesting character was the robot bartender. Interpret that as you will. ;-)
Not sure how Chris Pratt survived the exhaust of a nuclear reactor with a random piece of metal for a shield. Guess he is just one hell of a man.
Jennifer Lawrence was....Jennifer Lawrence in B movie form.
The spaceship and the special effects were cool.
Best I can say is that it was somewhat entertaining although I caught myself fast forwarding a couple of times during the lovie-dovie stuff.
Glad I didn't go to the movie theater for this one.

..... but what can I say? Green or brown - I do admire Ms. Zoe Saldana... Good thing she's in what seems like 50% of all movies I watch these days. So hot. Last good movie we watched was Hidden Figures. We really liked it. Totally forgettable name, but good movie. Watched Jackie the other night. Eh, it was okay. Kinda weird. Natalie did a fantastic job, but I just couldn't get into it much. The music score was very interesting and unique though. Watched Kubo and the Two Strings last night. Good, but far from great. Worth watching but don't expect miracles like some of the reviews tout.

Folks...this movie is a date movie with lovey dovey scenes to share with your girlfriend or wife. I was totally ok with it for this reason alone. I think most of us could live with her alone in outer space for a few decades...lol!

If you have streaming on Netflix I watched the 2014 Pathe release of Beauty and the beast. This is a visually and audibly stunning movie in french with subtitles. Another french beauty in the lead role...nothing special plot wise but mild fun anyways if you have nothing else to watch. Another foreign show I've been watching is the "Sniffer" series from Russia...both of these are on Netflix Streaming and recommended. www.imdb.com/title/tt2316801/combinedwww.imdb.com/title/tt3326054/And another Highly recomended series if your into viking/english historical dramas is the "Last Kingdom" Streaming on Netflix and recomended as it grows on you like mold. www.imdb.com/title/tt4179452/?ref_=nv_sr_1

You guys disappoint me. 'June 6, 1944, also known as D-Day, when some 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily fortified coast of France’s Normandy region.' I am watching Saving Private Ryan tonight. We call them the Greatest Generation for a good reason. Do you know what they did ?

Not great or fancy, perhaps thought invoking if you don't know the history. Worth my time but no blockbuster.

I watched Run all night with Liam Neeson last night after the hockey game. It was another movie in the bloodline of Taken I guess. Enjoyable, predictable and highly unrealistic. That's what movies are for right?...entertainment.

That's what movies are for right?...entertainment. Exactly. If we wanted realistic we'd watch reality TV... documentaries... not! It'd have to be CSPAN! I enjoyed Run All Night. Ed Harris and Liam Neeson are a couple of my favorite actors.

Wonder Woman---at the theaters Excellent--they don't say Wonder Woman once Saw it at a Cinemark XD theater. Very fun and entertaining. Visuals and sound are stunning. Gal Gadot is the highlight, flawless in her performance as the Wonder Woman. Heard the country of Jordan is considering banning the movie over this Israeli star. No need to say anything about this - other than that some people just need to get a life. Highly recommended movie... This makes three excellent movies in a row I have seen at the theaters: Guardians of the Galaxy II, Alien Covenant, and Wonder Woman. Coming up next next: The Mummy
