Thanks for the reply, (That picture was an example and is not my own setup, just looks similar in application) My mains are ~1.8m apart and the room is about 3.5m from front to back. I just had a go at mounting the ERDs using the existing studs, the speaker in the corner is 45cm away from the corner and they are about 1.4m apart. At present I have no centre channel but I hope to fix that soon, I'll try get a picture to give you a better idea of the layout. At the present I have just mounted the ERDs on the wall but in order to get the speaker cable there I'm going to have to lift off a section of the roof Thanks So your mains are about 5 feet apart and you have 11 feet or so to the back of the room, and your back surrounds are just about 4.5 feet apart. I think, if you could I would try to get the surround backs maybe a bit closer together so you can get 5 or 6 more inches to the wall... say like 55 cm. Sure this is not as optimum separation as the 1.8 M of your mains... but sounds like you are limited a by the room size in the back. Pictures would be awesome!!!

I have 6.2s for the L and R on 30 inch speaker stands, and a 6.3 for the center channel.
I have a small room.
I can't hang the ERD-1s on the wall because I have bookshelves.
Will they be ok on another set of 30 inch stands positioned as rear side speakers?
