i currently have a denon receiver hooked up to my xpa 3 with coax cables i bought from monoprice. They are not as tight as some other cables i have used in the past where i literally had to twist and pull off. These actually pull out easily. Does the fit make a difference? Also still confused about rca vs coax use in my set up and if it even makes a hill of beans difference which to use

The fact that they are not as tight is because of the type of end connector that is being used, not because it is one type of cable over another. Both use the same style of end connector. Coax is rated at 75ohms and is designed for either video or digital audio. For analog audio and what you are using them for the ohm rating doesn't matter. Either will work just fine in your setup.
