To the best of my knowledge the sub xover..or low pass filter is for the LFE channel only and is somewhat independent of the high pass filter you set for your mains. By design the LFE channel has audio 120 Hz and below. In practice there is not much info above 100Hz in the LFE channel. However, if you have you sub low pass set at 80Hz and there is some LFE info at 100Hz you would, in theory, lose it. I could certainly be wrong about the sub low pass. I am looking for some kind of clarification. Lonnie..can you confirm if the bass management sequence in the UMC is along these lines...?? Or is it like this where the low pass filter is actually in the main signal path??

Can someone with Emo answer this? This is the 4th thread I've seen asking this question in a variety of ways but I've never seen an answer from Emo.
This isn't something users should have to run their own individual tests to determine. It should be stated in the user manual.
