Best Universal Remote to use with the UMC-1?

I don't have personally the 900, but I know it's One of the very best One.
Best thing to do is call the toll free number from Logitech Harmony Universal remote control, right on your instructions booklet; they will set it up for you in no time.
They'll do whatever you ask them to do, that's what they're for, assist customers with their remotes.
I know for a fact, they did some amazing stuff for me; features that I was not even aware of in first place, but now I know the amazing possibilities of their remotes plus services.

Thanks all. Found the configuration options on the 900, so working through those. Oddly, some changes seem to take effect (when I tell the software to update the remote) but others don't. I'll poke at it a bit more and call tech support if I can't figure it out...

^ Anytime you don't understand something or you would like your remote (Harmony 900) to do the impossible; just do that, call their tech support, and you'll be on your way to Comfort Bliss.

I set up my Harmony (785 I think it is) before I even got the UMC-1. It works perfectly and responds very quickly.

I didn't even need to remove the UMC-1 remote from it's package.

On the Activities Tab select the Activity, then Customize Buttons, then select the particular color button you want to use, then select Tivo, then select the button.

On the Devices Tab select the Device, then Learn IR, go to bottom of page to Learn a New Command, type in the name of the command, and then learn the command.
