Now that my wonderful amp is in a nice amp stand and difficult to get to the rear portion, I am wondering if, when you turn off the LEDs is that just for the five litte blue lights or the entire front display? It is a bit bright in a dark room isn't it?

On my XPA-3, it turns of the 3 amp channel lights but the power button light is still illuminated.

The LED switch on the rear of the XPA-5 turns off the 5 LEDs on the panel. The power button still glows blue though.

Thanks Folks. My Rotel 1570 Pre/Pro has the same issue and Rotel actually includes a "Cloaking Device" to minimize the brightness from the blue power light. Pretty clever of them.
