Okay, so it seems the Emofest goers are still recovering from their hangovers, which makes be ponder the quality of their beer... or they just don't get out enough!? ...moving along So far we have a rough price point, and a mention of the output stage. If tech-specs and features were not available, then what I would really like to see is a detailed picture of the back and front panels, so I/we can figure out what we look to be getting... Someone must have taken some up-close photos, surely...? ...please ...I can only sip this coffee for so long, it's been 36'ish hours and it's kinda cold and disgusting...

Wow, sub outputs for right and left. I'm impressed. I only plan on running 1 sub, but if I ever go to duals, it's nice to see that I don't have to mess around with a splitter. Thanks for the pics, kidchewie! Mark.

Kiwi,
You should be chillin' on some of that fine NZ vino. Ah! I see some of the EMO visitors have posted.
Cheers!

Thanks for the pics, kidchewie! Mark. Sorry for the flash reflection, just had a small camera with me. XDA is also pictured unfortunately they did not have the XMC-1 present (just spec sheets and pictures that were used in the presentation). Would have posted sooner but was just able to get away from the kids for a few...

One other thing I forgot on the XSP-1...you can use the full range or HP/LP outputs and the HT bypass...unlike with the USP-1 in which you can only use the HP/LP...

KidChewie!! ...yer a legend ...Princess Leia had no idea what she passed up when given the opportunity to kiss a wookie!
Check out the sub outputs!!... loos like we might be able to have stereo subs low-passed from the L&R inputs...
And switchable full-range/high-pass option to the same L/R amp/speakers... which also means full-range outs for the HT-input... whoop whoop!
...wonder what that 'proc loop' in & out are intended for?

Thanx for the pix KC . This looks like a promising piece of gear . Curious if the remote will be the aluminium brick type . Balance control ? Where's the pre-order sheet ?

Did anyone notice what order the crossover is - 1st (6dB/oct), 2nd (12dB/oct), etc?
The back panel doesn't specify (unless I overlooked it - which is highly possible).
Kidchewie - mucho thanks for the pics!
This is a MUST-HAVE before Christmas (2010)! And a XMC-1 also! And, Santa, the XDA-1 too!
Cheers!

mmm... I wish the HP/LP potentiometer would go down to 20Hz so L/R sub can be used together with the Full-range output...

mmm... I wish the HP/LP potentiometer would go down to 20Hz so L/R sub can be used together with the Full-range output... I'm guessing you can do this (if I understand you correctly), by selecting the L&R to full-range and having the L&R subs connected. I believe this will be entirely mix'n'match, as is with the USP-1.... I'd also be interested to know how all 3 sub ouputs behave in HT bypass mode... It's my guess that they'll all be outputing the same signal from the HT-sub input...

I think i heard vince saying they were not going to have plastic remotes any more. The xda had a small alum. remote too. You had to be there to get on the xsp preorder. I signed up for xda($250), xsp($640), xpr-5($1360), xpr-7(1599). Love getting discounts oh yea plus 2 $50 vouchers also. Its nice only living 3 hours away.

I'm extremely busy this week, so I just haven't had time to update everything. I went ahead and at least put up the pics I took of the XSP-1 (similar to what's posted here, but probably easier to browse): XSP-1 Emofest 2010 Pics

Am I correct in assuming: - When you use the HT SUB input, you would use the "SUMMED" SUB output?
- When you use the HT LR main inputs, you can filter the lows and use the LR SUB outputs?
- More?
