Pre-order page is up, Reserve yours now. ;D Great new Lonnie. A lot of folks have been waiting for this one. Does that mean that Cathy now has shipping confirmation from China? Does this mean, barring problems, we should have them in the US in 3 to 5 weeks? Any further updates on the XSP-1 pre-amp and the new ported speaker line??? You keep coming up with new ways to keep your hands in my wallet. ;D ;D ;D Now I have to figure out whether to eat the next few months or whether to keep buying all your goodies.  |

I reserved one XDA-1 too @$299.00. As others, I'm been waiting patiently for this DAC.....
With a tentative shipping date of November 30, 2010, to my understanding, Emotiva normally, as others, starts holiday sale pricing around Black Friday, which this year is November 26, 2010.
At this time, I do wonder how the upcoming holiday potentially factors in pricing or shipping cost into the overall equation, and I question at what pricing Emofest attendees pre-ordered an XDA-1 at?---$299?
In all, I believe worth the money but many are watching their pennies during the current economic situation while I love Black Friday sales!

Reserved. Did not get an e-mail response yet though. I certainly hope there is a deal plus free shipping as Emo tends to do this for the Holidays as well as with the introduction of a new product. It's a great price anyway, but would make it much easier to fly with the wife!

I believe after I pre-ordered, it took about 45 minute, according to the e-mail time, a reply of confirmation was received.

I'm actually getting really excited about the XDA-1... It is (assuming the sound quality is as good as I expect) the ideal product for my needs: It matches my XPA-2 styling, has volume control (so I won't need a preamp) and unlike my Benchmark DAC1 It has a remote!
I currently use my DAC1 exclusively as DAC and Headphone amp at my computer... So I want to hook up the XDA-1 to my XPA-2 in my living room system...
I'm also excited to compare the sound quality of the DAC1 to XDA-1....
