You all think it is worth upgrading from DacMagic to the XDA-1? Would it be an upgrade or a downgrade? Looking the spec sheet XDA-1 does look more impressive. I am also very fond of the look of the XDA-1 and like the remote feature.

I have found that I prefer my Oppo BDP-83SE to the DACmagic. Based on what I have heard about the XDA-1 it could well be better then the 83SE, so I would assume it would be an upgrade to the DACmagic.
Of course until you listen (or at least someone does) it is all speculation. If you are in the USA you can always try for the cost of shipping..
