Hey folks, I have the USP-1,and had it,and also two XPA-1's for a couple of months or so now. I was listening to music at home, come to realize that I had been only listening to one channel from another room for several hours. One XPA-1 was not even powered on. After checking to see if it was hot,and maybe went into some kind of protect mode, saw it was stone cold, therefore I came to the conclusion it had never powered on to begin with. I checked the trigger cables, then switched it on manually. Came on ok,sounded great,so switched trigger cables between XPA's,then the other XPA-1 would not power up? Is it in the switching of the USP-1,or perhaps bad cable? Cold Amp made a loud click at the switch (not thru speakers) but remained off until manually turned on. Though I do not 'think' it's the cold amp with the problem seeing as the other one wouldn't come on using the remote either after switching wires...does all this make sense? Anyway, any input/insight before I call the good folks at emotiva would be most welcome. Regards.. Tom

update.... switched cable from UPA-1 and utilized it to L-R amps instead, and used one from amp to main USP trigger...make sense? Anyway...everything powered up..so,I'll be buggered if I know what's going on. Would still like to know why there was a signal failure between components.
