So Which one is Emotivas best amp? When cost, flexablity and sound are factored in which one is king. Not trying to start a big war just a fun poll to see what some of you other Emotiva lovers opinions are.

There is no "best amp". The best amp is the one that is the best match for your speakers and room.

^----- Agree 100%.
If I had to fathom a guess as to what Emotiva's best selling amp is I'd have to say it would be the XPA-5.

Ditto... but I'm going to cast my vote for the XPA-5 because that's what I have. I'm sure there are better sounding amps in the Emo-quipment catalog: as I get them I reserve the right to change my vote.

I use UPA-1s and and RPA-1. I love the sound and performance of both. but the RPA, to me is a work of art. Just one boy's opinion.

I have an XPA-2 and love it, but with everything taken into consideration I'd say the XPA-5. Any on the list would be a great choice though!

I would think the XPA-5 or UPA-5 might be the best selling...but the XPA-2 IMO seems like the best amp...rounded of course... Subject to approval by the fellow forum members...

HA HA We all know these people on the forums...right?? ;D

Emotiva's best amp is the UPA-5. Great price, plenty of power, and solid performance with both two-channel and HT.
The End.
;D

HA HA We all know these people on the forums...right?? ;D Well........ Whats the best amp for two channel? Not the XPA-5. Whats the best amp for 7.1? Not the XPA-5. 9.1, 11.1, Nope... Sonically these amps are all the same. It's just more about how many channels you need.... I've had a UPA-7 along with the amps I have now. They are all good. BTW, I like vanilla the best :-)

as for Emotiva's best amp..as others have mentioned...based on what criteria? The best sounding and most powerful? That's the XPA-1. The best overall value? I would have to say the XPA-5.

Emotiva's best amp is the UPA-5. Great price, plenty of power, and solid performance with both two-channel and HT. The End. ;D I completely, whole heartedly, and unequivocally disagree. The UPA-7 is a better amp than the UPA-5. It has 2 more channels. Mathematical proof: 7 > 5! DUH! ;D

Best amp depends on your speakers and the room. So what may be best for me, may not be best for you.
