I just took delivery of an XPA-3 amp and today they went on sale? When I placed my order last week I would have been happy to wait if they told me then. Has anyone else been in this situation with Emotiva? If so, am I SOL?
(Two days later) As it turns out Emotiva cheerfully refunded the difference. If my next purchase (and there WILL be more) goes the same way, I'll know Emotiva will do the right thing.

I sent them an e-mail but apparently everyone's at RMAF until the 19th. By then it will probably be too late.

Youll be fine, call them tomorrow. There will be people at the office as they didnt all go. Even if it takes you awhile to get in touch with someone they will look at when you purchased and take care of you.

Thanks, that's encouraging. I'm looking to pull the trigger on a USP-1 pre amp too, but I think I'll wait to see if it goes on sale in the next couple of months.

I got ERD's just before a sale and Emo honoured the refund and in fact made good the refund about 5 months later - as I applied it to the pending UMC shipping for my preorder. Please change your subject tho - you should be Now VERY happy

When they take care of this why not go back and re-word the title of this thread to something more complimentary. Next time give them a chance, they bend over backward (within reason) to make their customers happy.

I was in the same boat as you. I bought 3 items in june then came 4th of july sale. I called and they took care of it. ;D
