XPA-2

i own a xpa3. It runs my 3 fronts,my yamaha runs my 2 rears would a xpa-2 [by the way on sale now] make a considerable differance in overall performance Also does anyone have this setup im running def tech mythos. THANKS

I would say that adding an XPA-2 to your setup would VASTLY improve your sound quality. Using an XPA-3 and an XPA-2, I would use the XPA-2 to power the left and right main speakers and use the XPA-3 on the center and surround channels.

Other, more experienced users, may chime in with differing opinions.

I just added a XPA-2 to my system and there is a very noticable difference between the sound from my speakers with it compared to the XPA-5 I was using. Seeing that big of a difference I almost want to see how much of a difference a couple of XPA-1s would make.

I am running Mythos ST with the XPA-2 for Left and Right fronts and using XPA-5 for center,side and back ch.The front sound is great for music and the sound for movies is the same with the XPA-5 driving the other ch.When I listen to 2 ch. music with the XPA-2 the USP-1 and the ERC-1 the sound is fantastic.Please se my set up on bottom of page.
