Obviously since nobody has one yet I'm hoping that someone from Emotiva will chime in here...
Does the 12V trigger "output" put out 12V generated internally by the XDA-1 or is it simply a pass-through?
The reason for the question is that if it indeed DOES put out 12V I'll be able to use it to trigger my Panamax power manager and bring up the entire system with the push of a single button.
THANX! Jeff

Jeff,
Yes, the XDA-1 will provide a 12 volt signal for triggering other components. It also has a 12 volt trigger input for turning it on by another piece of equipment. My only question is do you really want to turn on every piece of gear you have plugged into your Panamax? That would be very unusual to want to power up everything when using a component that is limited to being used only with digital inputs. Food for thought for you. ;D

I guess I stated what I wanted to do poorly.
The plan is for the XDA-1 to power up the preamp, amp, subwoofer amp, subwoofer crossover, and maybe the CD player. The tuner, AppleTV, and BD player need to be always powered but not "on".
The XDA-1 is going to be used with the CD player (Sony CA7ES), BD player (Sony BDP-S570), AppleTV, DirecTV receiver and maybe a HTPC at some point.
