Maybe this is a question for Lonnie, but if anyone else knows the answer, please chime in.
Does the circuitry in the USP-1 create a delay in the signal? If so, how much?
I am running one of the outputs of my ERC-1 directly to my USP-1 then to the amp (front channels). The other ERC-1 output is being run to my AVR then to the sub so that the bass frequencies (< 80 hz) can be EQ'd.
I need to know if there is a delay in the USP-1 circuitry so that I can set the distance for the sub in the AVR to compensate for that. The AVR is being used the same way the Velodyne SMS-1 would be used, except I have to use two master volume controls to level match everything. This is for 2-channel listening only.
Thanks

The USP-1 is a purely analog device. As such, there are no inherent delays between input and output.

I second that. There would be no audible delay.

I think your avr is far more likely to place a delay than the usp is!
