Thanks guys Yet another thing i have been working on ;D Those are way cool. There is a guy who makes those out of wood and wraps them in one of several varieties of metal finish and either puts felt or sorbothane on the top & bottom, he calls them AV Risers, I have about 5 sets and they are great for adding some distance between components and they look good. I assume yours are solid metal? Anyway, keep up the good work. Link is for the AV Riser guy webpage for anyone interested. avrisers.com/default.aspx

Unfinished, like that, they seem very prehistoric. Especially with your taller feet. They look like dinosaur backbones

So, I decided to apply a black chrome finish to the stock trim pieces. For the most part they all look the same color, but as you move up and down, left and right, they change from light to dark. Sort of cool and very happy with the final result. They are subtle enough to be seen (as opposed to all black, IMO), but not as blatant as the bright stock ones.

Lou that looks great Thank you, sir. Coming from you, I take that as a great compliment. I just love your machining work. Are you in the tool and die field? Are you using a CNC machine or some other computer-aided machine. I took a few CNC classes when I was much younger and only did one item that was a keeper (a Pittsburgh Steelers plaque). Nothing as fabulous as your pieces.

Very fun program. One of these days i'll post a video of my machine running. It's scary how fast the machine have gotten.
