Should I get a USP 1 to go with my MMC 1 ? will it make that much of a difference with my turntable..TKS!

Crazy.. When I added the USP-1 to my system (MMC-1 pre/pro) the sound quality improvement was quite significant. Listening to the ERC-1 thru the MMC-1 was far better than when I was using the Oppo 980H; and then when I piped the ERC-1 thru the USP-1 the sound quality reached a new plateau of sonic bliss. Seeing as the ERC-1 uses the same DAC as the XDA-1, I believe you will experience a significant improvement when routing the signal thru the USP-1. I'm selling my MMC-1 and moving to a 2-channel system. Still trying to decide between the XDA-1 (as pre) and USP-1. |

The phono stage in the USP-1 is better than the one in the MMC-1.
