Thank goodness, February 15th! It seems like I've been staring at that 1RU "hole" in my rack for ages. My EMO Stack will finally be complete*
*note, I don't actually believe there is such a thing a "complete" in the home theater game, I'm just up against the issue of having run out of Emo components to buy... well then again, maybe I need a few more speakers... hmm, and maybe something for my analog sources.... and maybe.....
On page 16 of the 'final' manual under "Technical Specifications", the manual reflects now as, "Internal Volume Control: Digitally controlled precision attenuator."
To my understanding of the 'draft' pdf version of the XDA-1 manual, page 16, of which I still electronically possess the pdf, the spec was formerly annotated as, "Internal Volume Control: Digitally controlled in increments of 0.5db."
And, under the current Emotiva website product listing, the spec now reflects as, " Internal Volume Control: Digitally controlled in increments of 0.5 steps." (Note: no db)
We expect our next shipment of XDA-1s in by February 15th. Please call in with your card information to complete this order at $299.00. As always we will not charge your card until the unit ships. If you are an international customer you may use PayPal or Bank Transfer. If we do not hear from you by Friday, February 4th we will move to the next customer in line.
Interesting, I was charged today... which I assume means they got their shipment in early or they're releasing a few that they had in stock... because they typically won't charge until right before they ship. Definitely not 2 weeks ahead of time.

Got my email notice and can't wait to get this into my system.
My first external DAC. I don't plan on using the volume control on the XDA-1. I will be plugging it into the stereo balanced inputs of my Anthem. I have my XPA-1's hooked up to the balanced outputs of the Anthem also.
I just paid for an XPA-2 and XDA-1 to be shipped to Australia. They shipped the XPA-2 (thanks Sarah for being so prompt ) today and I was told that "my XDA-1 would ship as soon it is available". Either I am way down the list (which of course if fair as I only preordered a couple of weeks ago), or they still don't have any. Hoping for it not to take too long as I am going to be using it as a preamp and i don't want to have this awesome amp and pair of speakers with nothing to control them
