It looks like it won't have a built in crossover, which could mean a straight, full-range pass through - no sub outs either - I bet the XSP-1 will have the sub out. Soundapproach.com has a pre-order price at $750 - says it will ship in March... oops...

Hey, guys, I added high res pics of the Pre-1 to the XSP-1 page at Emonatics, check out the back panel, you can see there's balanced and unbalanced HT pass.

Plus they got sneaky and even labeled the HT bypass connections on the rear panel. ;D How dare they try to trick us by putting labels front and rear. I admit that I had to use a magnifying glass to be able to read the rear panel labeling, but I was able to find the front panel HT bypass button without needing the magnifying glass -- 4th button in from the far right in the picture. This could very well be the clone of the XSP-1. Lonnie said the XSP-1 would have bypass for full range speakers (unlike the USP-1). Maybe we will be getting an update on the Lounge with more legible labels front and back for the XSP-1. Is the thought of the XSP-1 being just around the corner quickening anyone's pulse? ;D Oops! I missed Bob's note about having high resolution photos of the PRE-1. Very nice, Bob. Much better legibility on your site. After getting a closer look at your photos, I think that the XSP-1 will have "analog bass management controls" when it ships.

From the inside pictures, the Sherbourn has no dual differential design. The interieur of the XSP1 should look much different.

I was looking into getting the USP-1, but I think I'll hold off until the XSP-1 is released. I would love to have the balanced input/outputs, and full range HT pass-through.

Hopefully the XSP1 will hat 2 x HT pass through switchable from the front plate or remote. 1 for the XDA and 1 for the UMC/XMC.

Hey ossif, I can see how this would be handy, as it would provide a good solution for the XDA-1 bypass rant I've posted a thread on.... That's if the XSP-1s bypass inputs are a true bypass circuit... Although there maybe some debate around whether this would be of any benfit, rather than disabling the XDA-1 volume attenuator, and going through a standard XSP-1 input?? ...Interesting idea though

A switch box if you like. Of course the best solution stays to get an HT pass through with the XDA 1.
