iPhone help

I stream to my Airport Express and have done it to my AppleTV v2 as well. Works like a charm. I leave my computer on all the time and do not allow it to sleep. I have done this for 7+ years and it has never been an issue. Leave it on and enjoy.

Hi there Justin,

If you're using a Mac running Mac OS X you should be able enable the Wake for network access option in Mac OS X.
Mosey over to the Energy Saver pane in System Preferences and turn this on.

Without it on the Apple Remote app on the iPhone has no effect on the sleeping MacBook Pro. With it enabled the Remote app wakes up my sleeping system and can access my iTunes library every time.
