still new to this whole separates thing, have had mine now since oct, still wondering if it sounding the way it should in my room.Have run EMO-Q a few times always with different results, was looking at getting a SPL meter, but how do you adjust with this thing?,have read reviews on how much better it has tuned peoples systems, and make them sound better, just wondering if i should spend the 40 plus bucks to see if i can make the sound any better. Thanks to all that respond, there seems to be alot of peeps in this forum with alot of experience.

You use test tones from a test source or the built in ones.
Have you installed the new 7.04.00.00 firmware yet? If not, do that and then try Emo-Q again, it was more consistent for me and less per other reports but the other updates are well worth it and it might work better for you.

Make sure you have a short, good quality USB cable (but don't get ripped off on the price, $5 is plenty to pay, make sure to install the latest USB drivers AFTER you install the updating software and you should be good to go. Plenty of us here will help you through if you have problems.
