RSP-1/2

I was perusing the 'retired gear' page on Emo's site and noticed these two (RSP-1/2) beauties at the bottom of the page. I have to say, with slight embarrasment, that I'm not sure I have ever noticed these before.

Any members who own one care to share a few words?? ;D

I used to own the RSP-2. The RSP-1 was their original preamp, and the RSP-2 is the same, with updated cosmetics. It was discontinued when some of the parts inside became too expensive or unavailable.

I had a RSP-1 and loved it. It was a great 2 channel pre-amp with fantastic sound.

Needed money and room so I had to sell it.

I want one. What I would really like is a hybrid of the RSP-1/2 and the USP-1. HT bypass AND tone control.

Sounds like the XSP-1 will fit the bill. Hope it comes out soon.

No tone control? Are you sure? Did that get removed from the list of potential features? I could have sworn it was there.

I must be blind, a look at the prototype pics indicates it has tone controls. Sorry
