Sounds a lot like ambiophonics to me. It would be nice if this were incorporated into the XMC-1.

I'm hoping this kind of thing in conjunction with more speakers (e.g. the current 5.1+ systems) will allow for the "sweet spot" to be enlarged. Otherwise we'll all have to wear headphones (and glasses) and keep our heads still like is done currently with headphone 3D tech when playing computer games for example.
