Carlos, YES, I am super happy to see you back! The 'heart attack' is mostly for people like us that cannot afford such a magnificent system. Not that is an ultra high-end one, but a Best of the Best in its own category. * And Carlos, I don't know if you noticed that new Forum that I just discovered not too long ago, but I think you might enjoy the people and some of the subjects over there. Actually I'm sure you will! Here: What's Best Forum

Thanks Bob for the link to that forum. I have noticed that there are a lot of members from all over the United States and Canada. Will be reading more about it and will join the site soon as well.
Thanks again for always finding great sites for all of us.

Hi autimbo, I know you are kidding. That was good!! Trust me that if I was working for either one I will have a much bigger system together with a State of the Art Dedicated Home Theater System with a 1080P Runco Projector. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks rdperry. My New Speakers should be here next week. After connecting the speakers to the system I will give the entire system over 200+ hours of a good break in period before sitting down for a good listening session and then after that write a very nice review of the first impressions. I am convinced that it will be a great listening experience. I can't wait!!!

Shell or BP is an odd statement, Exxon is the American company (vs the Dutch and English). What are you current speakers? I assume you went from your Onkyo pre/pro and amp, to the Parasound etc to see how it sounds. Is it 5 x better J/K. Audible difference immediately hit you??

Actually my Onkyo set up still in my house. If you recall I have two systems in my audio rack but they are independent from each other.
If you see the picture of my entire living room you will see that the Onkyo Processor and Amplifier are still in the Audio rack over the top of the right side JC1 Monoblock.
The Onkyo Processor and Amplifier are connected to my 7.1 Surround Sound Definitive Technology Speakers.
The JC1's are just for the two channel system and they are not part of my home theater system. ;D ;D ;D

Understood, but you have to run some speaker cable to your L/Rs put on a CD and see what happens with the new gear Seriously

Noooooooooooooooo!!! Understand that your new system 'outspecs' your current speakers, but they are broken in. One test I like doing on new speakers/components is turn it up to a moderate volume, then get up real close and listen the speaker about an inch away and listen for any noise/distortion. You get close enough, you'll hear some on most systems (although not necessarily audible at the sitting position). I think you should do a little listening with the new system (then post) and then you can say how much greater the Ty's are

I have previously owned two models of the Tyler Acoustics Speakers and trust me when I tell you that the Tylers are in a different league than the Definitives. The Definitives are good speakers but it is like saying that the Definitives are Varsity High School Baseball League and the Tylers are in Major League Baseball. Here is a picture of the last Tyler Custom Made Lynbrooks Signature Speakers that Tyler made for me ,

Those I sold last year because I was entering a business project with my brother in Puerto Rico so I used the money to fund the project and that is why now I am having Tyler Acoustics build for me another pair using the same exact drivers but they are going to have a different Speaker cabinet design, different wiring and very expensive German M Caps for the Crossovers.

WOW! what a system! Those Kavent monoblocks are beautiful and I'm pulling for them to win vs the Parasound Halo JC-1s. I've read the JC-1s are supposed to sound great but looks wise and build wise I like the Kavents.
Man what a sound system.

I did not see how much you are paying for security to guard all of that beautiful gear. I suggest Brinks and better get insurance with Lloyds of London. Enjoy your equipment it is absolutly stunning.

Jedinite24, I know that it is going to be really hard to decide which monoblocks will be better because both Monoblocks, Parasound Halo JC1 and Kavent P-2200 are great High End Amplifiers. Time will decide which ones will be have the best sound with this Marantz Reference Series System. The Kavent's with their first 100 watts in Pure Class A @ 8 omhs and 200 watts @ 4 ohms it is a remarkable feat on its own. Too Bad the Kellsie Audio and Video Designs (Kavent Parent Company) is out of business. The Parasound Halo JC1's with their first 25 watts in Pure Class A @ 8 ohms in High Bias and also being Rated a few times in Stereophile Magazine as Class A Monoblocks it also make them a great choice of High End Amplifers. That is why I am keeping both monoblocks specially since the Kavents and not being made any more. Will keep you posted of the results as soon as I get my new speakers which I thought that I was getting them next week but it seems that it is going to take a little longer because the 10" seas drivers that were order from Madisound Speaker Components are out of stock and they had to order them from Norway and it will take around 30 days to get them. www.madisound.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=45_228_258&products_id=786I think that I will have no choice but to listen to what tjf120 was recommending and hook the amps to my Definitive Technology Speakers and give the new gear a good break in period. Wow!! Having to wait another 30 days for my new Speakers. This wait is killing me but as the saying goes,"GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT". And I have no other choice but to wait.!!
