Rather than bury an attaboy for Emo in an existing thread, I thought I'd start a new thread for this commentary.
Recently, I bought a USP-1 pre-amp, and as my luck would have it, the unit went on sale mere days after I'd ordered.
$449.00 vs $399.00. It's not huge money, but it's still $50!
I just received an email from EMO stating that my "difference" check was being sent shortly. That is very cool in my world.
Nobody will waste a moment in being harshly critical about a company's customer service, so it is only befitting that one be equally quick to PRAISE top-notch customer service policies such as this.
It's just one more reason that I am HAPPY I chose an Emotiva product.
We return you now to your regularly scheduled program.

I had just purchased an XDA-1 the day before the sale. I called Emo the morning of the sale and mentioned I had bought one the day before. Jana asked for my name and then said I could expect a refund to my account. No hasstle, no fuss. Just great customer service!
Kudos to Emotiva!

They helped me out as well. I bought a UPA-1 from a member who got it from a memeber and so on. Well, i traced it back to a guy who is no longer active here. A simple e-mail with their user name and they were able to find the original owners prchase date and swap it over the warranty to me. Now had I bought from a big name company, I doubt they would have made the effort. Thanks
By the way, my littlle slut of a UPA-1 has been through 4 owners and now 5 including me, and it wasn't even 10 months old. Go figure.

I think that must be a record... five owners in less than 10 months. I wonder if some of them even unpacked the box before reselling it to the next owner. It is so hard to imagine a component turning over that many times in such a short period. Is this part of a Steven King book? ;D ;D

Well, the styrofoam in the box has a little to be desired but it did arrive in great shape. Still plays like new though. ;D
