ERC-2 XDA-1 connection

How should I do it?

I put my ERC-1 up for sale (10/10 mint condition, $320, owned since August, manual, original packaging) in order to get the ERC-2, which I have reserved. I want a fully balanced signal from cd player to speaker (my amps will also have balanced circuitry)

(I'm building a hifi and don't have all the pieces yet)

how should I connect my ERC-2 to my XDA-1? Use the AES/EBU connection? Or some other?

I want to buy an Emotiva cable. Which should I buy?

You may have answered your own question: If I were you, I'd opt for the X-Series Balanced XLR Cables.
