The Scott Nixon Dac has caused me to think about trying one some day. I think Artie had one but dont know where it went. It was not there when we were at his place. I have not heard or seen the Grant. Hope to some day. I hear a tremendous difference between plugging into the processor is a bit of a let down without the external DAC. I really enjoy the sound of the Apple tv2 into the Tube Audio, and only gets a bit nasty when the engineer rides the slides all the way up on the top end.
