I'd love to hear your system sometime. I can't have you over, my place is too messy.

Well Kraemer, how do they sound??? :-) I see they use the same binding posts as my Selahs. Oh boy!!! They sound better than I thought they. Still need time to sound there best. Ty said the woofers need a few hundred hours. Very smooth. Tight punchy bass. Highs are crystal clear. Enormous sound stage. It fills the entire room. The Bel has noise in the left channel. Not very loud but I can hear it when I change records. I'll get it fixed soon Do you like my TT weight? Also I love the binding posts too really slick looking ;D

They do have a hiss, which I knew they were but the left is way more apparent. I made sure it wasn't the speaker by checking with a polk bookshelf. It's the bel

Nice pictures for sure.
But are you going to be happy in about three months down the road?

Regarding the noise. Phono cables are very susceptible to noise interference due to the low voltage. From the photos, it looks like your phono cable is laying across your speaker cable. Try moving your phonobox II preamp over close to your turntable and bundle the extra wire and keep it close to the turntable and away from any power or speaker cables. The cable from the turntable to the phonobox is the one to be concerned about.

Brain, I was trouble shooting all this morning. I unplugged everything from the bel. Bel was on. Noise from left. Turned the bel off(standby). Noise from left. Unplugged power. Noise was gone. So its none of my sources

Yep, cool record weight!!! :-) It's made out of aluminum. The slug in the middle is solid brass. The lines sparkle when the TT is on
