UMC-2 is fully 1.4 with CEC and ARC and was in the room for pre-production equipment that may never see the light of day.

XMC-1 that I saw had 10 hdmi inputs and 1 output. Several RCA stereo ins and one pair of stereo XLR ins. There were pre-outs for 7.2 channels.

Wow, the new look of the UMC-2 is really starting to grow on me, And did any of you guys notice the HP jack and cal input on the front? Don't really care about the HP jack cause I already have the USP-1 but the cal input is pretty nice as I plan on building a rack in my wall. I could give a rat's a$$ about 3D but just may sell mine and get this on the above changes alone. The downside is that it won't match the rest of my gear Now can someone please give me some closeups and an in depth comparison of the XSP-1 and USP-1. Pretty please ;D |

The XSP-1 sounds nice HAHAHA just wait a few days. Tons of people will chime in. New XDA-2, A desktop DAC and many more new products |

I thought the UMC-2 and the XPR looked great. I really liked their more modern look. Was a little short on funds today, so I had to postpone buying XPA-1's and I purchased the XPA-5 instead. Hopefully I can buy a pair of the big boys at Christmas. Looking forward to going back for more Emo-festivities tomorrow. |

Had a great time today! Everyone is sooooo nice here! Do I want to move here??? Yes please! Do I want to work for Emo? Do you even have to ask?  ? LOVE the new monitors! Great off axis response and surprising bass response from ALL of the models. Yes, even the little guy had a bit. I really like the new towers with the port at the bottom. They sounded pretty good in the 2-channel room. In the home theater room is where they truly shined though! Many thanks to Lonnie, for a detailed showing of the digital subs. A couple were set up in the small photo room and hooked up to a tone generator, so the user could play with the bass response and play around with the EQ. Room nodes be gone! Or at the very least, better! I am 100% sold on the 12". Gonna try and take one home with me. :-) Scored a great Area-51 deal on an ERC-2 as well! The kids and wife had a great time at Chuck E. Cheeses too! Thanks so much for offering that for them. Wore them out a bit. More later, but so far it's been great seeing old friends and making new ones! Prepping the kids now for a swim before dinner with everyone! |
