Ack!! I've been waiting for my XPA-5 to arrive. Had my son-in-law housesit till I could come home at lunch. Got home and looked at FedEx tracking and it said it had been DELIVERED! I contacted FedEx and it was delivered at an address about a mile away and signed for by someone. They said the driver would go get it and bring it later today. Now I'm fretting that they opened the box and did some unknown damage or that they will deny receiving it, or... or... Just felt I needed to share  -Jeff |

I bought it new on the 4th of July sale. And I have a ERD-1 set and an ERM-6.3 supposedly arriving tomorrow to finish off my living room sound. Hope they don't deliver those so the same guy!

Now I'm really ticked. Almost 8pm and no sign of delivery, so I call FedEx again and they have no record of my previous call and the guy tries to tell me it was delivered with signature!!! He said he sent a message so the driver will get it taken care of tomorrow Arrrggg. (deep breath...deep breath). Yes, driver error, but he can't fix it if he doesn't know about it. I'm giving it a 50% chance I'll never see that amp.
Just had a thought, it may have been mis-delivered to Nike which is close and they said it was delivered on Walker Rd. That could explain why it wasn't noticed if got mixed with a bunch of other boxes.

Fedex did the same thing to me last week. They dropped my package off down the street at the wrong house. Tracking showed it was delivered so I jumped in my truck and drove around and luckily I found a big box on a door step. Went to check it out and sure enough, it was mine! These guys are getting way too sloppy!

If it is delivered to your place and it looks like it has been opened you can refuse it. Better yet, accept it and call Emo or even if it doesn't show up at all just call Emotiva and they will help you solve the issue.

Ok, I received the XPA-5 today in an unopened box. Also my speaker order. I'm a happy camper now. It was delivered to a Jo-Anne fabric store! My neighbors said they didn't mind me playing my music loud. I'll see if they change their minds.

Oh yeah sure! You can't fool me eltwo. I used to watch those New Yack City cop shows and there was a shooting or mugging before and after every commercial break. Besides they have a really lousy baseball team!
And futha more, they wouldn't get away with calling it Broad Way out here in liberated Seattle!

I think its safer living down this way, when we all own and carry guns the immoral people know they will get shot if they try anything. No one tries mugging someone unless they think they have them out gunned.  I know I know there is crime everywhere but I don't think I have ever been scared anywhere in Oklahoma |

WOW ..glad you got your gear ,i think i would have gone nuts,,sucks that we are at the mercey of these crappy delivery companys,think we should make a special company for high end audio gear like they have for the expensive cars,,ie,,enclosed car carriers for classic cars worth six and seven figures,,think we would all feel better about our gear getting on time and safer
