It's Lucas' creation, he can do what he likes with it is my opinion. Creating new versions does not diminish the originals.

As always DYohn is right. I actually think all these changes Lucas keeps making make the originals even better. Some of these changes over the years really stink. I could understand fixing up color inconsistencies or improvement of some sequences but this latest one has really made me angry. At first it was the Greedo Han Solo who shot first BS now this. I was thinking about getting this Blu-Ray set but now I will pass. George isn't getting another cent from me. The scene in question where Lucas makes Vader say No was one of my all time favorites from the original trilogy. I've watched this clip a bunch of times now and I keep saying to myself George you are an ass.
If I could change my username I would.

Yes, Dyohn is right, Lucas can do as he sees fit since they are his films but all these changes take them on a turn for the worse. I totally agree with you about this "Nooo" video - makes me want to throw up!!! It looks more like a 7 year old kid who tried to be funny and did a sound overdub to make Vader look like an idiot. Next project for George: Have little thought balloons over all of the characters heads in all of the scenes so that we know what they are really thinking even if they are not saying anything. Grr... yeah, it's his films but the guy is senile.  |

He's just trying to squeeze as much blood from his biggest cash cow as he can. While I don't blame him, to me it really is an indication that he has no more ideas.

You are absolutely right... but even though he has no more ideas, why do his movies have to suffer as a consequence. He obviously thinks he's making them better, or at least I assume he thinks that. He can do whatever his wallet dictates him; I just don't care about that guy!
He's just a caricature, a logo on a T-shirt!

For what I hope are technical audio and visual improvements, I am eager to get the Blu Ray versions and hope all this meddling didn't affect the movies toooo much. |

I WAS looking forward to the blu-ray release, but as big as a Star Wars fan as I am I'm not spending another dime on these films after all these annoyances.

This will be one Star Wars movie that George won't be able to tweak. I would pay for this Star Wars movie but the little lady would kill me.
Also nothing graphic is shown in this teaser clip. Obi-Wan has a funny line at the beginning.
