I'm posting this here because this is not a review of a particular piece of gear but an overall endorsement of a brand of gear that gives you a lot of value for your $$s. I'm sitting here listening to music, as I do most nights after I get home from work, and I am thinking about how reliable my Emotiva amps and Cd player have been performing for me over the years. Most admirably, my RPA1 (with an UPA1). This amp gets several hours of morning, and evening duty. I come home later and fire up the equipment for a little relax time before i've got to sleep. During the weekend it is not unusual for these amps to see 12 to 20 hours of continual hours of use. They are workhourses for sure. Enough rambling, I am thankful for my Emotiva gear and would recommend it to any of you audio enthusiasts on the fence about upgrading your current system. Check my list of gear I own, from amps, speakers, an cd player. They all have never failed to work on a day in day out basis. I have never needed to invoke my five year warranties. This is not a paid advertisement (although it sounds like one). Feel free to PM me if you have some questions, but I am gonna go back to listening to some music. PS.. Mods please move this post to wherever you think it fits....

I agree with you 100%. I have owned many pieces of Emo equipment over the past few years. Goodness, so many have I owned and sold... ;D But as you can see I still own many pieces and love all of them. I have had a few issues with a couple of pieces but they have always been repaired correctly and very promptly. All of the amps are excellent value and performers but that RPA-2 is just one fine outstanding amp!!!

I'm with you guys too. although, I'd love mono blocks, actually i'm half way there, I do appreciate the XPA-3 that I've been using. I've never had to question it, it just works. Even my Onkyo is happy. She used to run on the hot side but now she's just nice and warm. I must say I'm very happy with it and even when I get my 2nd UPA-1 I'll be keeping the XPA-3. Thanks Emotiva! If not for you, I'd be stuck with just a receiver and 5 speakers.
