Some might wonder why I am posting what is considered sacred music. My purpose is not meant to be religious in any way, only for the beautiful melody. I love music from almost all genres. I can like or even ignore the lyrics (if any) or listen to the instrumental version only. Beautiful melodies are a feast for my brain and heart. Many of the best composer/songwriters that come to mind seem to have names with a B ----- Bach, Beethoven, Irving Berlin, The Beatles, Pachel bel, Boy George ( ) and Bad Religion (only DYohn knows this one). M ----- Morricone. Z ----- ZZ Top.

Obviously a garage band! (Many young punks have no idea what this term meant years ago vs some new digital audio workstation.)

Boom had this one post with four separate musical selections. Nice music! However, I hope he and any other Lounge Lizards will only take my post here as a friendly suggestion with zero offense intended. I love to listen to posted music. Sometimes it takes quite some time until I have a chance to listen over my high quality headphones rather than my laptop with built-in but fairly decent sounding B&O speakers. My suggestion is if you have multiple selections, consider posting them as separate posts not all in one single post. Maybe limit to 4 posts per day as some have posted as many as 10 songs in a row. I love to give a "like" when I can to individual songs. In this case I would have given 2 likes but the other two were only OK to me, so I skipped the like button. I realize there might be an occasion where a Lizard posts more than one selection for comparison purposes etc.

I was working for world peace. First I listened to a Tupac song, then a Biggie song, then a Tupac, then a Biggie.
Sadly, it did not usher in world peace.
But it did show me that Notorious BIG was a much better rapper than Tupac, but he sure wasn't as pretty.

If the musical legacy of Glenn Miller survives, at least on this planet, it will probably not be due to American youth but Japanese youth who love American big band and jazz music. Very refreshing! How about one of my favorite Duke Ellington compositions, In A Mellow Tune. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCr_wvb_djs
